If you start by betting $10 and go on to lose 7 hands back to back for a total loss of $1270 you must now bet $1280 on the 8. round! Paroli doesn't require a big bankroll. Beginning with $10 and loosing 7 rounds back to back will only cost you $70.
While it is similar to Martingale and Paroli, the Parlay method is a somewhat less risky approach. The Parlay method is based on a pyramid scale of betting by adding a proportional amount plus the original bet when you win.
